DIKCHU, 29 Oct: 52-year-old Santadosh Rai, a linesman with the Power Department, was electrocuted to death Tuesday morning when he was at work at Makha here in East Sikkim.
The accident is reported to have occurred at 9 a.m. when Mr. Rai was working on restoring power lines damaged by the storm which coursed through the region on Monday evening.
The dead body was handed over to the bereaved family after autopsy. The deceased hailed from Dhar Gaon, Makha.
