GANGTOK, 18 Feb: Bharatiya Janta Party Sikkim state-unit
president, Padam Bahadur Chettri has appointed Shanti Sharma as the general
secretary of the state-unit. She was serving the party as the president of Bharatiya
Janata Yuva Morcha so far.

In-Charge, Shiva Kumar Sharma informs that this is part of the party’s plans to
strengthen its core unit. As per the view of the party president, Ms Sharma has
been persistently working with the party with commitment and diligence and has
been appointed as the general secretary with the hope that would continue to do
the same, it is mentioned.
The party also inducted Narayan Bhattarai as the president
of North district, Param Kush Sharma as president of the East district and Nar
Bahadur Chettri as the state secretary of BJP. It is informed that the party
would soon be appointing members of the constituency and booth level
committees.
