As per a press release, the technical session on the second day concluded with the keynote address by Tumin-Singbel Zilla Panchayat, Hem Raj Adhikari. The first session was also addressed by Professor SS Mahapatra [Head of Commerce Department, Sikkim Government College, Tadong] and Suman Sharma [Deputy Director, Horticulture and Cash Crops Development Department]. The second session was addressed by Janak Chhetri [Department of Commerce and Industries] and Pramod Sharma [Technical Officer, Sikkim Cooperative Milk Union].
In their summary address, the Chairpersons of the respective sessions winded up the views of the speakers and set an inference. Exhibition and sale of locally processed food and traditional food items, flowers and vegetables, village handicrafts, etc was also held along with the seminar.
Towards the end of the second day, a colorful traditional dance by participating stakeholders and students was also witnessed. The final day of the seminar is slated to be organized with a follow-up approach and presentation of certificates and proceedings of the two-day seminar, the release mentions.
