GANGTOK, 22 Jan: Sikkim Pradesh Congress Committee [SPCC] held
meetings at different villages in Daramdin constituency under the party’s
ongoing people interaction programme on 19 and 20 January.
An SPCC press release informs that the programme was led by
Daramdin constituency in-charge, Laden Lepcha who discussed problems, issues
and other grievances of the people. The release claims that during the visit it
was revealed that the people of the area have not received the benefits of the
government’s programmes properly.
It is informed that the public interaction programme has
been underway in East, West and South districts in full swing. The release
alleges that the SDF government is trying to garner votes by organizing the
Janta Mela just as the Assembly elections are approaching.
