GANGTOK, 27 Apr:
Sikkim Krantikari Morcha [SKM] has appealed for support for a fire victim of
Chujachen constituency in East Sikkim.
An SKM release
informs that on the night of 24 April a fire broke out in the house of Hari
Maya Chapagai which damaged the house and destroyed all important documents
inside it. Her son was seriously injured in the fire and has been admitted at
STNM Hospital for medical treatment.
SKM has alleged
that no inquiry into the incident or support for the victims has come from the
state government so far. SKM Chujachen candidate, KB Gurung and other
supporters visited the victim’s house at Tareythang and extended some financial
assistance and other support.
The party has
further requested for support for the victims.
