GANGTOK, 13 July: The “Kirawa Youth Wing” was formed today at a meeting held here at the Tadong Chomlung-Chapchakhim, a press release informs. The new group was formed following unanimity among those attending the meeting that the Rai community was among the most backward and needed stronger unity to develop.
The meeting resolved to create awareness and unification within the Rai community. Meanwhile, the meeting formed a committee headed by Dil Kumar Rai as president followed with Amrita Rai as its general secretary.
