GANGTOK, 11 Dec: The results of the election for the executive body of the Sikkim Veterinary Association [SVA] for the period 2013-15 were declared on 06 December by the election commissioner for the SVA, NT Lepcha. An SVA press release issued by publicity secretary, Dr Sanjay M Gajmer informs that the six-member executive body was elected uncontested.
The executive body has Dr Nima T Bhutia as president, Dr Madan KS Shanker as vice-president, Dr DS Tiwari as general secretary, Dr GS Sharma joint general secretary, Dr Sanjay M Gajmer as publicity secretary and Dr Durga P Pradhan as treasurer.
“All the Veterinarians of the state congratulate them and have wished them luck”, the release adds.
