Lok Adalat takes up 4 cases

GANGTOK, 01 June: A High Court Lok Adalat was held on 31 May in the Office of Sikkim State Legal Services Authority, Near Power Sub-Station, Sichey, Gangtok, presided by Justice SP Wangdi, Judge, High Court of Sikkim and Executive Chairman, Sikkim State Legal Services Authority along with DK Gazmer and Geeta Gurung as the “Other Persons” of the High Court Lok Adalat. A press release informs that 04 cases were taken up and have been posted for settlement in the next Lok Adalat.

GANGTOK, 04 Apr: A High Court Lok Adalat was held on 03 May in the office of Sikkim State Legal Services Authority [SSLSA], Sichey, Gangtok. The Lok Adalat was presided by Judge, High Court of Sikkim, who is also the Executive Chairman, SSLSA, Justice SP Wangdi along with Norden Tshering Bhutia and Pushpa Basnett as the “Other Persons”. Out of 09 cases, one case was disposed.

High Court Lok Adalat settles 2 cases

GANGTOK, 08 Nov: A High Court Lok Adalat was held in the office of Sikkim State Legal Services Authority, near Power Sub-station at Sichey today, presided by Justice SP Wangdi, who is also the SSLSA executive chairman along with DK Gazmer and Geeta Gurung as the “Other Persons” of the High Court Lok Adalat. A press release from the SSLSA Additional Secretary informs that 02 land dispute cases were taken up and disposed of.

GANGTOK, 27 Nov: A High Court Lok Adalat was held on 26 Nov at the Mediation Centre, Pentok, Mangan, North Sikkim presided over by Judge, High Court and Executive Chairman, Sikkim State Legal Services Authority, Justice SP Wangdi along with GP Pradhan, Dr. Henrimit Lepcha and Norden Bhutia as the ‘other persons’ of the High Court Lok Adalat.
Out of 3 cases taken up, one was successfully settled, informs an official press release.

Out of 8 cases 2 were settled successfully, informs a press release.
