MANGAN, 01 Apr: Central General Observer, Tshering Angchok along with DM-cum-RO, North, TN Kazi met with the presiding and polling officers of North district today.
Speaking to the presiding and polling officers, Mr Angchok said that the presiding and polling officers have an important role in conducting free and fair polling, therefore, whatever lessons have been imparted to them by their training master should be inculcated positively so as to conduct the polls conveniently and peacefully, he stated. Further, he asked the officers to sincerely perform their assigned duties.
Earlier, a training session was conducted for the presiding and polling officers here at the control room by ADC-cum-ARO, North, RK Yadav. During the technical session, Mr. Yadav explained the role and responsibilities of the presiding and polling officers. Apart from this, they were shown the demo of polling and filling up of all the necessary forms.
