GANGTOK, 11 July: Sadar Police have arrested a man for attempting to steal the donation box at the Thakurbari Temple premises.
At 12:30 pm on Thursday, the chowkidar of the temple, Mahabir Chettri caught one Mickel Gurung as he was trying to escape with the donation box. The accused was handed over to the police and a case under section 454/ 380/ 511 of the IPC has been registered against the accused and is under investigation.
