NAMCHI, 31 July: After its formal Sikkim release at Rabongla, South Sikkim, last week, Nepali feature film, “Biteka Pal”, premiered for audiences here this evening.
The show in Namchi was supported by Cultural Association for Revolutionary Effect (CARE). The screening, held at the community hall, also included a cultural performance by local artists.
As for the movie, it opened to mostly positive feedback from the audience. The screening had the Dakshin Sikkim Sahitya Sammelan adhoc body president Santa Pradhan as chief guest along with other members of the Sammelan and invited dignitaries.
The producer of the film, Rajesh Ghatani, gave a brief introduction to the film.
