92-year-old Chandra Das Rai, popularly known as “CD Sir”, wears many hats - senior citizen, senior journalist, former bureaucrat, veteran politician, writer – and channels all of these aspects lucidly into his debut book, “Nepali Shahitya ko Fulbari ma Chandra Das Rai ko aeuta phool”. The book is primarily a collection of Mr. Rai’s essays published in various magazines and newspapers over the years. Also included are two poems titled ‘Bapu’ and ‘Rastriya Chaad’ and two letters sent to him and his wife, the late Ganga Devi Rai, by their grandson and granddaughter.
