GANGTOK, 10 Aug: Renjong Mutanchi Rong Tarjum [Sikkim Lepcha Association], along with the Sikkim Lepcha Youth Association, has thanked Chief Minister Pawan Chamling and his Cabinet for having made the effort to trek a strenuous 7 kms from Damthang to the Tendong summit on 08 August to celebrate Tendong Lho Rum Faat with the Lepchas on the very mountain that is worshipped on the day. This was a historic moment for the organizers since this was the first time that a Chief Minister and his entire Cabinet and colleagues had made the trek.
