Two killed in road mishap

GANGTOK, 13 Aug: Two persons were killed when the vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident at KN Turning, Singtam at around 11.30 am on Tuesday.
The driver [35] and one occupant [38] were killed when the taxi they were in fell off a cliff around 200ft below. They were the only occupants in the vehicle which was plying from Upper Ralap towards Singtam. Both the deceased were residents of Ralap.

Two injured in road mishap

GANGTOK, 07 Aug: Two persons were injured when the Maruti Alto they were traveling in met with an accident at Bikchu, below 4th Mile Army Camp, North Sikkim on Wednesday. The vehicle fell off a cliff almost 70 ft. below.
There were two occupants in the vehicle at the time of accident. Both of them were staff of BSNL and were returning to Chungthang after installing BSNL V-Sat connection at Lachung. They were evacuated to Chungthang PHC for medical attention.

ITBP personnel injured in road mishap at Ambithang

GANGTOK, 15 May: Three persons were injured when a vehicle belonging to ITBP met with an accident at Ambithang, North Sikkim on 14 May. The injured were forwarded to District Hospital, Mangan for medical treatment. A case under section 279/337/338 IPC has been registered against the driver of the vehicle and is under investigation.
