GANGTOK, 18 June: Rotary Club of Gangtok in collaboration
with FSD Deorali [a unit of 17 Mountain Division] embarked on a plantation
project at the New Cantonment area on 15 June. As per a press release, the
project 'Green Cantt - Clean Cantt' was undertaken as part of the Paryavaran
Mahotsav. Apart from the enthusiastic Rotarians and their family members
involved in the project, many Army officers, including the GOC participated in
the plantation drive.
