Angaalo Yo Maya Ko embraces Rongli


RONGLI, 05 May: Screening of the Prashant Tamang starrer Nepali movie, “Angalo Yo Maya Ko”, played out over two days at the Rongli Community Hall at Melatar with the last show on 01 May. The screening was organised by the Sangharsh NGO of Rongli. Present on the occasion were producer of the movie, Kishore Dungmali, and Assistant Director cum actor of the movie, Praja Pradhan.
“Bijayata Baraily’s flawless acting was the best in the film,” commented Suman Pradhan, a Rongli resident. He further said she was superb in her role of ‘Jasmine’.
“The story is well crafted, dramatic scenes and the comic scenes were enjoyable but the music could have been much better. Over all a well made film,” he added.

Angaalo Yo Mayako becomes first Nepali movie to screen in a multiplex in India



SINGTAM: After a successful two-week run at Vajra Cinema Hall in Gangtok, Nepali feature film, Angaalo Yo Mayako, produced by Kishor Dungmali of Majhhitar, is ready for release at a multiplex. Mr. Dungmali informs that with AYMK’s release at Cinemax Sevin Plaza, Siliguri, on Friday, this Sikkim-made movie will become the first Nepali film to show at a multiplex in India.
Indian Idol Prashant Tamang, the lead actor of the movie, will also be present for the first show when AYMK debuts Nepali filmmaking to the multiplex circuit on Friday.

Angalo Yo Maya Ko to embrace audiences on Thursday

GANGTOK, 29 March: The cast and crew of Sikkim’s first Silicon-2k HD film, Kishor Dungmali Rai’s  “Angalo Yo Maya Ko”, made on a budget of Rs 65 lakhs and set to premiere on 31 March at Vajra cinema hall, got talking with media persons today at the Gangtalk restaurant on MG Marg.
Speaking to media persons, the producer, Mr Rai, said, “We have tried to make the film as local as possible from the locations, cast and crew, to the sound recording. We have tried to make use of all the available local resources. ”

Angalo Yo Maya Ko set for 31 March premiere


GANGTOK: Sikkim’s first Nepali film to be shot in Silicon-2k HD, Kishor Dungmali Rai’s “Angalo Yo Maya Ko”, starring Prashant “Indian Idol” Tamang, is all set for its premiere at Vajra cinema hall here on 31 March.
