GANGTOK, 28 Oct: Kopila Pariwar, Sikkim Guards Welfare Association (KPSGWA) Tathangchen organised a day-long trip for senior citizens, youth and students of Tathangchen to South Sikkim.
A press release informs that around seventy elderly citizens, students and youth visited Char Dhaam, Buddha Park and Samdruptse. They were accompanied by the president, Dawa Bhutia, vice president, Krishna Chettri, general secretary, Rinchen Bhutia, advisor, Basant Subba and Gyalpo Bhutia and other Executive Body Members of the Association.
The trip was organised for senior citizens belonging to the BPL category and the Association is planning to organise a similar tour to Bhutan in the near future as well, the release informs.
