GANGTOK, 25 Nov: The Tumin-Lingee Youth Association is leading the State contingent to the forthcoming 17th National Youth Festival to be held in Bangalore, Karnataka, from 12-16 January 2012.
In this regard, selection trials to ensure the best and maximum participation from various clubs of the four districts have been called for 01 Dec at Gyalshing, 02 Dec at Namchi, 03 Dec at Mangan and 04 Dec at Gangtok, informs a press release.
The list of the items to be covered in the competitive section are folk dance, folk song, one act play (English/Hindi), classical vocal (Solo) and instrumental (Solo). No TA shall be provided for the selection, the release mentions.
