GANGTOK, 20 Nov: State Level Orientation Training Programme for National Youth Corps organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra Sanghathan, Sikkim Zone which started on 11 November at the State Institute for Rural Development, Karfectar, Jorethang concluded successfully on 20 Nov, informs a press release.
The training was attended by 44 volunteers from all four districts of Sikkim. About 20 different resource persons delivered lectures on varied subjects and the National training manual for NYC was strictly adhered to during the entire training period, the release informs.
The valedictory function was attended by Bhumika Pradhan, Assistant Director, SIRD and Uttam Chhetri, Assistant Director, DESM&E, Jairam Gupta, National Youth Awardee and Deepak Rai, Ex-District Youth Awardee besides two Youth Coordinators.
