Training for REDRH masons at Sumbuk

GANGTOK, 17 Dec: A one-day training and orientation programme for REDRH masons and beneficiaries was held at Sumbuk GVK, South Sikkim today. GVA Sumbuk, Dinesh Pradhan highlighted that being a time bound project, REDRH houses must be completed by March 2014 and urged beneficiaries to ensure quality work as well.
The training was conducted by AE GVK Sumbuk, Sandeep Khatiwara who explained various technical aspects of REDRH construction like quality testing of the materials, curing of bricks and mortar mixing.
Similar training for masons was organized by Kabi Tingda GVK, North Sikkim on 13 December. The training had participants from 6 GPUs of the constituency and was attended by DE, Zilla panchayat North, GVA, AE and JEs from engineering cell.
