GANGTOK, 16 Dec: Sikkim Krantikari Morcha, formed in 04 February earlier this year, is now a registered political party.
PS Tamang [Golay], in a press release issued from New Delhi today, informs that the party has been registered as a regional party by the Election Commission of India. He has thanked party workers, well-wishers, students, the party’s Nari Morcha, intellectuals, government employees, business community and many others who have extended support to the party.
Stating that SKM will not let them down, Mr. Tamang further expresses that the official registration of the party will boost the tempo of party activities. The registration of the party marks the end of corruption, communalism, discrimination and other ills prevailing under the present government, he adds.
Mr. Tamang has urged party workers to continue their fight to uproot the ruling party from power in the assembly election next year.
