GANGTOK, 13 Dec [IPR]: Governor Shriniwas Patil called on the Union Minister of State for Development of North East Region (DoNER), Paban Singh Ghatowar in New Delhi on Thursday.
A press release informs that during the meeting, the Governor discussed various developmental issues pertaining to Sikkim, as well as the North Eastern Region. The proposal for a project amounting to Rs 2 crore for construction of tourist amenities along Jawaharlal Nehru Marg for tourists visiting Nathu la was also submitted.
The Governor is on an official visit to Delhi, it is informed.
