GANGTOK, 17 Dec: Sikkim Krantikari Morcha has invited all Sikkimese to attend the Rolu Picnic’s fourth anniversary on 21 December at Rolu in South Sikkim.
An SKM release informs that PS Tamang’s [Golay] “fight for change” had started on 21 December in 2009 at Rolu in South Sikkim and this year, the party will mark the anniversary with a function at the same venue starting with a puja followed by an address by Mr. Tamang and the party’s working president, Bharati Sharma.
The party also has another reason to celebrate after the Election Commission of India registered Sikkim Krantikari Morcha as a regional political party on 16 December.
“Despite SDF’s attempts to create hurdles in the registration process, the party is elated at getting official registration,” the SKM release contends.
