GANGTOK, 14 Nov: Sikkim Police has made a good start in the 62nd BN Mallick All India Police Meet Football Tournament 2013 at Secundrabad in Andhra Pradesh. In its first match played today, Sikkim Police outplayed Jharkhand Police 2-1.
Pradeep Gurung and Suman Dewan scored one goal each to help Sikkim Police win its first match.
Tomorrow, Sikkim Police will take on Madhya Pradesh Police which will be followed by its last match against Assam Police on Saturday in the qualifying round. Sikkim needs to win at least 2 matches to qualify for the next round.
