GANGTOK, 15 Nov: Sikkim Police has qualified for the pre quarter-final round of the ongoing the 62nd BN Mallick All India Police Meet Football Tournament 2013 at Secundrabad in Andhra Pradesh. In its second qualifying match, Sikkim Police defeated Madhya Pradesh Police 3-1 to qualify for the pre quarter-final round of the tournament.
In today’ match, Shantiram Luitel, Bijay Subba and Karma Lhendup Lepcha scored a goal each for Sikkim Police.
On Saturday, Sikkim Police will take on Assam Police in its last qualifying match.
It may be mentioned here that in its first match on Thursday, Sikkim Police had defeated Jharkhand Police.
