Training held for REDRH masons in Yangang

NAMCHI, 10 Dec: A training programme on REDRH for masons working on constructions under this project was organized today here at the Yangang Gram Vikash Kendra, South Sikkim.
The training was presided over by Gram Vikash Adhikari, Yangyang GVK, Prakash Chandra Kharel while the resource persons of the programme were Divisional Engineer, South, Pratap Gautam and Assistant Engineer, DP Sewa from GVK, Yangang.
Total of fifty masons participated in the training where they were made aware of the guidelines for constructing a building under the government’s REDRH scheme. The training was also attended by line department officers, local people and the staff of Yangyang GVK.
Earlier the Panchayat Inspector, DB Chettri delivered the welcome address while the programme was conducted by Field Facilitator, Yangyang GVK, Kumar Chamling. Later the trainees were issued certificates on completion of the training.
