GANGTOK, 10 Dec: Bojoghari Sr. Sec. School celebrated its Annual Day today which was attended by officers from HRDD, SMDC and SMC members as well as guardians. The main event was the release of the school’s first ever Annual Magazine, “Aagaman”, by the chief guest Joint Director (East) HRDD, Prakash Pradhan.
As per a press release, Principal CD Bhutia stated that the inaugural magazine announces the arrival of literary development in the school. She also stressed on the need to open Science as well as vocational stream and requested the officials from HRDD to extend help towards the school.
The guests enjoyed the culinary skills of the students as they visited the food stalls of four different houses trying out local cuisine prepared by the students and House masters, it is mentioned.
Mt. Pandim house was adjudged the one with the best food stall. The Art & Crafts stalls had a well received collection of handmade baskets, bags, dolls and decoration items. The program ended with prize distribution.
