GANGTOK, 11 Dec: The valedictory function of the five-day Free Surgery Camp organized by the Sikkim Vikalang Sahayata Samity [SVSS] in collaboration with Health Department & Smile Train of India was held here in the SVSS Office, Zero Point today.
Addressing the valedictory function, Minister cum Chief Patron for SVSS, NK Pradhan, who chaired the function as the chief guest said, “We should all to contribute towards SVSS to heal patients because it will bring happiness in our lives as well”. The Minister expressed gratitude to the medical team from Agra for their contribution towards SVSS till now and also expressed hope that their support will continue in days to come.
President SVSS, Dropadi Ghimerey also addressed the function which was attended by members of SVSS along with medical team from Saraswat Hospital, Agra as well.
It was informed that a total of 55 patients of Cleft lip and palate and burn cases have been registered till now.
A two-day screening camp on Neuropedic and Orthopedic ailments began here at the SVSS Office, Zero Point today where the doctors from Agra accompanied by three technicians will screen patients. A total of 56 patients were registered for the screening camp today.
