Kerabari JHS lifts Futsal Winter Championship at home

MELLI KERABARI, 12 Dec:  The finals of the “Futsal Winter Championship”, organized by Indreni Club of Kerabari, was held at Melli-Kerabari playground today. The tournament kicked off on 06 Dec and was played on the “Tiger-V” format.
The final match was played between Sky Band and Kerabari JHS which the latter team won 03-02 to clinch the trophy. An exhibition match was held between Kerabari Super Moms and School Girls.
NB Pradhan, a popular social worker and entrepreneur of Melli Dara Paiyong GPU, was present as chief guest. The final match attracted a huge gathering.
Ward Panchayat Padam Cintury, while delivering the welcome speech, highlighted the example of successful players like Bhaichung Bhutia and Nirmal Chettri and encouraged the local players to take inspiration from the struggle and commitment.
The chief guest appreciated the effort put in by the Indreni Club to organize such a lively event and lauded the people of Kerabari for their unity and harmony.
