GANGTOK, 11 Dec: Government Junior High School, Lumsey, 5th Mile Tadong, organised a grand farewell programme for the first batch of class VIII students passing out successfully from the school.
A press release informs that the Headmistress, TD Venchungpa in her address wished the students a bright future and asked them to remain focused on their studies to face greater challenges ahead.
GT English, KL Bhutia, the class teacher advised the outgoing students to be extra careful with their studies while another senior teacher, IK Dahal assured all possible help to the students. GT Maths, Ranu Rai also wished the students luck for their future.
Students of junior classes presented a cultural programme on the day which was also attended by the School Managing Committee representative, Shamsher Subba, it is added.
