GANGTOK, 30 Jan: The Kho Kho Federation of India is organizing the 47TH Senior National Kho Kho Championship at SAG Ground, Chicalim in Goa from 12-16 February 2014.
A press release informs that the students of St. Joseph’s School Rhenock will be participating in the tournament and a 15-day coaching camp for the same organized by the Kho Kho Association of Sikkim is underway at St. Joseph’s School Ground.
The camp is being conducted by a team consisting of Anup Chakraborty [Asst. Secretary, Sikkim Kho Kho Association], Piyush Sarkar [Coach, Sikkim Kho Kho Association] and Augustine Rai [PTI, St. Joseph’s School, Rhenock].
The team consists of 12 Boys and 8 Girls from St. Joseph’s School, Rhenock and 4 Girls from Namchi Public School, Namchi. These children have sacrificed their holidays to prepare for the national-level tournament, the release mentions.
The Principal, staff and the entire team of St. Joseph’s School is grateful to the Sikkim State Games and Sports Authorities, Kho Kho Federation of India for their invitation, Kho Kho Association of Sikkim and the coaching team at St. Joseph’s School, Rhenock for their dedicated service and concern for our students, the release expresses.
