GANGTOK, 29 Jan: The ICFAI University Sikkim (IUS), organized a campus recruitment drive in Gangtok recently where 11 of its students were selected by the IT company, IBM.
A press release informs that all final year students of BBA, BCA & BHTM participated in the recruitment process. After several rounds of interviews 11 students were selected. The selected students got lucrative salary offers and other benefits, the release mentions.
IBM is a blue-chip company having operations in India & abroad in the field of IT and ITES services. This was the second recruitment visit made by the team, led by Head – Campus Recruitments, IBM, Manoj Jinghan, it is informed.
The 3-member team met Vice Chancellor, SG Tashi, Registrar, Prof. ST Venchungpa and Dean, S Joshi and applauded the performances of last year’s selected students in their respective jobs. The team has appreciated the all-round performance and potential of students pursuing their studies at IUS, the release adds.
