GANGTOK, 04 Dec: A ward-level meeting of Sikkim Krantikari Morcha was convened at Akuching-Ungrung under Gnathang-Machong constituency today, which was chaired by the party advisor, Dubo Tshering Bhutia.
An SKM press release claims that at the meeting, residents accused the ruling party of discrimination on the basis of political affiliation and community in the distribution of government benefits. Zonal president of the party, Chopel Bhutia accused the government of dilution of old laws of Sikkim.
The release further claims that during the meeting 18 houses joined the SKM party and assured to work dedicatedly and actively in the party.
