Sikkim Security Agency deploys trained personnel to assist relief and rescue in North Sikkim


GANGTOK, 24 Sept: Sikkim Security Agency, Assam Lingzey, has deployed its trained security personnel to assist rescue works at Abir Infrastructure (P) Ltd. under Teesta Urja at the Teesta Stage-III hydel project in North Sikkim.
Twelve personnel have been deployed for Adit II at Theng, 6 for Audit II at Saffu, 7 each for Adit IV and Adit V, while 3 security personnel have been deployed at the Chungthang dam site and 12 at Singhik [9th Bend], informs a press release.
All the personnel are extending full assistance towards the rescue works and are all safe, the release adds.
