GANGTOK, 11 Aug: Dainik Jagran successfully conducted the Bharat Raksha Parv cultural programme -2014 at City Centre, Siliguri on 10 August. A press release informs that singers from across the country, including Sikkim’s Remanti Rai, performed in the cultural programme.
Bharat Raksha Parv is a festival that seeks to spread nationalism, patriotism and brotherhood across the country and is an initiative of Dainik Jagran. Lakhs of children make Rakhis and greeting cards for jawans serving at the borders and Dainik Jagran distributes them to the jawans, the release mentions.
Remanti Rai was also felicitated by Commissioner of Police, Siliguri, Jag Mohan during the programme. He wished her success and thanked Dainik Jagran for promoting young talent of the region.
