GANGTOK, 08 Aug: All Sikkim Educated, Self Employed and Unemployed Association [ASESEUA] has welcomed the state government's decision to suspend four officials for their role in handling the student protest on 14 July in Gangtok.
In a press release, the association has said that the decision has upheld people's belief in justice and democracy. ASESEUA has acknowledged the state government especially the Chief Minister Pawan Chamling for standing with the people and upholding the Rule of Law.
The association has further appealed to the state government to also take action against other officials who were involved in the incident of 14 July.
