RHENOCK, 02 Nov: A coordination meeting among the Principal, Teaching and non-teaching staff, members of Red Ribbon club and NSS unit of Rhenock Sr. Sec. School, East Sikkim was held at the school today.
The meeting was also attended by the locals. The meeting was called to discuss the day long blood donation camp which the Government Sr. Sec. school, Rhenock will be organizing under the banner of the school’s Red Ribbon club and NSS unit, on 07 November 2011 in the school premises.
While addressing the meeting as the chairperson, the Principal, Rhenock SSS, BM Pradhan called for coordination and support from all concerned for the blood donation camp. In his speech Mr. Pradhan highlighted the importance and advantages of blood donation. He said that blood donation was one of the most valuable social work that can be done by an individual.
The meeting also appealed to the students to take part in the blood donation camp in the school. At the same time, the school has called upon the interested NGOs, SHGs, other organisations, institutions and individuals to take part in the same.
