GANGTOK, 30 Oct: The State Institute of Capacity Building (SICB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with SEW Infrastructures Ltd., Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh for skill development and placement facilitation of unemployed youth as per the Industry norms in the construction sector.
Accordingly, a training related to Assistant Work Supervisor was conducted by SEW Infrastructures Ltd., Hyderabad, from 01 to 28 Sept at the Institute for 34 class XII pass youths, informs a press release issued by SICB, Chief Administrator, SD Dhakal.
After successful completion of the training programme, SEW Infrastructures Ltd., Hyderabad provided placement to all the successful trainees at their various construction sites situated at Raipur, Chhattisgarh. However, 15 trainees of the first batch of placement have joined their place of postings in various parts of Madhya Pradesh, the release informs.
Similarly, 20 trainees of Syari Livelihood Schools have been successfully placed as beauticians at Core Wellness Ltd. B-101/ 102, Remi Biz Court, Veera Desai Road, Near Phirangi Dhaba, Andheri West, Mumbai which is a group company of Sohum companies, the release adds.
