GANGTOK, 30 Oct: A quiz competition on the Bible was organized by Sanyukta Isai Sangati, Ranka, East Sikkim on 27 Oct, informs a press release.
The competition was won by EPCS followed by BBC, Ranka. The third and the fourth positions were bagged by HCF and Word of Life. The judges for the event were Pastor, Ajay Basnet and Emmanual Rai.
The winning team and the first and second runners-up were presented with trophy and cash award by the chief guest, Pastor Paul Rai from AG Church, Luing, the release informs.
The chief guest appreciated the effort in organizing such an event and expressed hope that other programmes will also be organised with the same spirit in the future as well.
The programme was also featured cultural items put up by local youth together with Sonam Bantel Lepcha and Sonam Wangdi Lepcha.
The welcome address and the vote of thanks were delivered by the Elder Phurba Lepcha and Rohit Rai, adds the release.
