Sushen Pradhan, son of TB Pradhan and DK Pradhan of Development Area, was felicitated on his completing Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biotechnology from Guwahati University on 30 June 2014. His topic was “Development of tissue culture system for in vitro regeneration, biochemical and molecular characterization of ginger varieties grown in Sikkim”.
Also felicitated were Shruti Pradhan, d/o Sahadeo Pradhan and Kalpana Pradhan, on her scoring 94.8% in ISC Exams 2014 from Tashi Namgyal Academy. The felicitation programme was attended by all members of the Samaj and was hosted to encourage the younger generation in the field of education, the release details.
