NAMCHI, 27 July: Sikkim Democratic Front supporters and lay people from Namchi-Singithang and Poklok Kamrang constituencies today gave a warm welcome to the new chairpersons here at the SDF party office today. Addressing the function, Mr. Lama thanked Chief Minister Pawan Chamling for the responsibility given to him and assured that he will deliver with all sincerity and try to do every work of the party and public with utmost honesty.
He further appealed from support and cooperation from all senior party leaders and supporters and hoped they will guide and help him strengthen the SDF and reach its vision to the grassroots level.
He said that the SDF party has treated all communities well and worked for overall development of the people and the state.
Similarly, Mr. Ghishing also thanked the Chief Minister and all senior party leaders for the responsibility.
SC Board Chairperson Shanta Ghataney in her address also thanked the CM and remarked that such opportunities will also encourage all the women of the state to work for the party and people of Sikkim.
