Jain Sadhvis in Gangtok

GANGTOK, 16 Jan: As part of the ongoing 100th birth anniversary celebration of Acharya Shri Tulsiji, the disciples of Acharya Maha Pragyaji, Sadhvi Pramila Kumariji along with three associates reached Gangtok today.
A press release informs that the group walked to Sikkim as per their normal practice and were welcomed by the Jain community here. They will be staying in Gangtok for three to four days, during which they will preach about Jainism especially the teachings of Lord Mahavira.
It is informed that during the preaching they will also be elaborating on ‘Anubrat’ where ‘Anu’ means atom and ‘brat’ means to obey. ‘Anubrat’ seeks to enhance the quality of one’s day-to-day life, it is added.
