Suicide at Chakung

One person is reported to have committed suicide at Chakung under Soreong police jurisdiction, West Sikkim. The deceased was a 40 year old man; he reportedly committed suicide on 8 January. The deceased, on 8 January, at around 9 am, had gone to the house of his uncle where he went to sleep, locking the house. When he did not come out his uncle went to check to find him hanging from the beam of the wooden ceiling of the room. According to reports the deceased had been a psychiatric patient for the past few months.
