IPR Minister visits Department office at Tadong

GANGTOK, 04 Aug [IPR]: The Minister for Information and Public Relations Department, and Health Care, Human Services & FW Department, Government of Sikkim, AK Ghatani visited the IPR Department at Tadong today. During his visit the Minister was accorded a warm welcome by the Secretary along with the other officers of the department. The Minister also visited all the sections of the department and interacted with the sectional heads and took first hand information on the working module of each and every section of the department.
During a brief meeting with the officers of the department the Minister took stock of all the activities undertaken by the department and its functions. While interacting with the officers, he spoke about the government's programmes, policies and vision and urged the department's officers to work in a coordinated manner to ensure that the department meets all expectations in disseminating the vision of the government in an effective manner at the grass root level.
Earlier, Secretary IPR, CC Wangdi briefed the Minister about the various activities undertaken by the department.
