NAMCHI, 24 Mar: The Returning Officer (RO), Prabhaker Verma
accepted the nominations of 8 candidates of the Congress party today. The 8 Congress
candidates of South Sikkim filed their nominations for the upcoming General
Election 2014 at the office of the RO South in the South District
Administrative Centre today.
The candidates who filed their nominations today are Dadul
Lepcha [Barfung], Ishwar Prasad Rai [Poklok Kamrang], Khush Bdr Rai [Namchi
Singhithang], Man Bdr Rai [Melli], Dikmaya Basnett [Namthang Rateypani], Deepak
Bhandari [Temi Namphing], Om Prakash Bista [Rangang Yangang] and Pandup Lepcha
[Tumin Lingee].
