GANGTOK, 23 May:
Sikkim Krantikari Morcha [SKM] president and Upper Burtuk MLA, PS Tamang
[Golay] led a ‘thank you’ rally through MG Marg today.
He was accompanied by the other victorious candidates of the
SKM party from Gangtok [Pintso Chopel Lepcha], Syari [Kunga Nima Lepcha],
Arithang [Shyam Sundar Pradhan], Upper Tadong [Timothy William Basnett], Martam
Rumtek [Dr Mechung Bhutia] and party supporters.
They visited each and every shop and thanked the people for
voting for the SKM party and for showing their support for the SKM party.
The party supporters also burst celebratory firecrackers at
MG Marg and once the festivities were over, also cleaned up the area of litter
that firework spilled on the litter & spit free zone.
