GANGTOK, 20 May: All
Sikkim Democratic Labour Front [ASDLF] has conveyed deep condolences on the
sudden demise of its senior leader Chabbi Lall Sharma on Monday in Siliguri. It
is informed that he was a patient of diabetes and died in a hotel in Siliguri
on Monday.
An ASDLF press release
informs that he was an active leader of the central committee of the front and
always worked in the interest of workers. His sudden demise is a big loss to
the front, it is stated.
ASDLF convened a
condolence meeting here today and observed 2 minutes silence for the departed
soul. It is informed that the meeting also expressed its condolences to the bereaved
family.
