GANGTOK, 07 May: The team of SAATHI, a programme under the Chief Minister’s Youth Empowerment and Self Reliant Mission, interacted with the students of Jorethang Senior Secondary School on 06 May.
A press release informs that students of classes 8 and 9 attended the presentation on drug and substance abuse. By the end of the presentation the team SAATHI was successful in selecting the 9 leaders who will be going through an intensive training to be the peer educators in their school.
The team’s next stop is Melli Secondary School South Sikkim, it is informed.
