MANGAN, 06 May: Training for all the counting supervisors and assistants of North District was conducted at DAC, election control room, Mangan, North district today.
The training was conducted under the supervision of DM (N), TN Kazi, ADC (N), R Yadav. DM, North in his address thanked all for proper cooperation at the time of poling and called for further support during the counting process.
ADC (N) presented information regarding the counting process which will be held on 16 May at Zilla Bhawan, Mangan. He informed that the counting process will start by 8.30 am and 10 counting tables will be placed, 5 counting tables for parliamentary and 5 counting tables for assembly poll along with video coverage. All the counting supervisors and assistants should obtain identity cards before 13 May, he added.
The counting process will be monitored and cross checked by the Observer and micro Observer. The counting will start with the Postal ballots followed by the Assembly, Parliamentary and Sangha.
All the counting staff deployed must cooperate for peaceful and fair counting process, said the ADC and added that there are several election rules and regulations which have to be followed properly. The EVMs should not be touched by counting agents of any political party at the time of counting, it was informed.
