MANGAN, 07 May: The Central Bank of India’s Mangan branch celebrated its 2nd anniversary at its premises today. The Central Bank of India is the first nationalized bank in India to run as a Swadeshi bank started by Sir Sorabji Pochkhanawala in 1911.
Branch Manager Sanjog Subba underlined that the Bank believes in the motto ‘Centralise for Customers’ [C4C] and positive customer service. Starting with 1,000 customers in its first year, the branch now has 2,200 customers, he added. The bank has also launched several new schemes it was informed. Also present were head cashier, Soumen Das, cashier, DK Chettri and staff.
